1. Service Description
Bestrent apartment hotel service offers you accommodation in spacious and fully-equipped self catering apartments instead of expensive small hotel rooms in Kiev and other cities. In comparison with standard Ukrainian hotel accommodation, our clients get better service, more space, more privacy and higher quality accommodation at very competitive rates. Electricity, water, gas, bed linen, local calls and Internet access are included in the price. Our clients can also book additional services with us, such as we also provide transfers to/from the airport, train or bus stations, chauffeured cars on a daily or hourly basis, interpreting and translating services, city tours, gifts and flower delivery. All apartments advertised on our web site are for accommodation renting only. If you require an apartment for any other purposes, e.g. birthday celebrations, business meetings or video shoots, you must inform us in advance (not all apartments are suitable for such purpose and some may require additional payment). If you have any pets you must also inform us in advance. In the case of non-disclosure of any of the above circumstances we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and your deposit will not be refunded.
2. Reservations
We will confirm your reservation or offer an alternative apartment within 24. After the confirmation you will be required to pay a deposit equivalent to one night (the total bill should be paid to our representative upon arrival or on the following day. We recommend you pay for the whole period of stay upon arrival. In the case if you choose to pay on a daily basis, your apartment may be reserved by other customers and you will need to move to another apartment). After we've received your deposit we will send you a written guarantee of your reservation. You can find more information on payment in Payment policy.
Unlike with most other companies, you can book any apartment advertised on our web site for stays of less than 5 days if the following conditions are met:
- you reserve it not earlier than 3 days before your arrival.
- you choose several suitable options and we will keep one of your chosen apartments for you.
- your accommodation will be upon arrival.
You can contact us on your arrival day or one day before within 15 minutes we will offer you available apartments for daily rent to satisfy your requests.
For last minute accommodation enquiries please contact us by phone. We will do our best to accommodate your request on short notice.
Booking for stays longer than 5 days are subject to our standard conditions. However a deposit is required in any case, to guarantee your booking with us.
Your reservation is guaranteed only upon receipt of full payment.
3. Check-in / Check-out procedure
Check-in time is from 1 p.m. untill 2 p.m. You won't be charged extra for early check-in on the condition your apartment is available and ready. However, it is not usually known until late evening on the day pior to your arrival. If you want a guaranteed early check-in you need to book your accommodation from the day prior to your actual arrival. Arrivals between midnight and 9 am count as early check-in and will be charged
Check-out time is from midday until 1 p.m., regardless of your check-in time. If the apartment is available or the next customer arrives late you can extend your stay at no extra charge. However, we can confirm availability only in the morning of your departure day. If you wish to have a guaranteed late check-out, it can be arranged at extra charge:
- staying in the apartment untill 6 p.m. is possible at extra charge equal to half-day rate
- staying in the apartment after 6 p.m. is possible at extra charge equal to full daily rate
All the additional payments are due to the fact that we have to refuse accommodation to other customers in order to fit in your request for extended stay.
If you would like to have early check-in or late check-out, please inform us of your arrival and departure time in advance.
4. Prices
We offer competitive prices on our web site. All prices on our web site are per apartment and per night and are inclusive of all taxes, local calls, bed and kitchen facilities, cleaning and bed linen change every three days (additional cleaning services are upon request and at extra charge).
We have special discount offers on our apartments, however, these rates only apply to a specified period of time. We want to offer you the best price for your booking.
5. Deposits and payments
As stated above, your reservaton is only guaranteed upon our receipt of full payment. Within 24 hours of your booking confirmation you are required to pay a deposit equal to one night stay which will be deducted from your final bill. Your final bill should be paid to our representative upon your arrival or on the following day. We recommend you pay for the whole period of stay upon arrival. In case if you choose to pay on a daily basis, your apartment may be reserved by other customers and you will need to move to another apartment.
During high season or national holidays some apartments will require full payment in advance.You will be notified of such requirements in advance. You can pay your deposit by using one of the methods recommended in our Payment Policy.
6. Cancellation Policy
When we secure a room for you, we will have to refuse accommodation for other potential customers if their booking is for the same apartment and overlaps with yours. To cover our losses in case of no-show, we require a deposit, which might not be refundable if you cancel or change your arrival date. A cancellation fee of $50 will aply for cancellations or amendments to your booking made10 working days prior to your arrivalYour deposit won't be refunded if you make any changes to your bookings less than 10 days prior to your arrival.
In case of no-show your payment will not be refundable.
Any payments for airport/train transfers are fully returned if you cancel prior to your check-in date. Payment for these services will not be refunded if cancelled after the check-in date.
The rent amount will not be refunded if you leave the apartment earlier than the confirmed check-out date.
If you need to make slight amendments to the dates of your trip, please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to accommodate your request without any losses if possible.
7. Damages
The customer is liable for any damages to the interior of the apartment made by themselves or their guests during their day and will be charged accordingly.
You will be asked to sign a rental agreement upon your arrival. You will also be required to pay a security deposit of $100 which will be returned to you at check-out. (This deposit will also cover extra costs if you extend the Internet usage allowance of 250 Mb per day whick is included in the rent.
8. Guarantees
Bestrent.com follows high ethical standards and guarantees your privacy. We will not reveal any kind of your personal information (name, email address, credit card details) to a third party without your permission. For more information have a look at our Privacy policy.
Having been in the real estate market and having excelled in providing the best lodging alternatives to hotels since 1999, we value our reputation and we can guarantee that:
- all apartments and their pictures on our web site are real
- any apartment advertised on our web site can be reserved according to our booking terms and conditions
- customers will be placed in accommodation as per their reservation, with the exception of cases of force-major.
We are not responsible for yours and your guests' personal belongings while you're staying at our apartment. Just use common sense - do not invite strangers to the apartment and do not leave any valuables unattended.
9. Force-majeure
Bestrent.com reserves the right to change your confirmed apartment for another apartment of a similar standard if circumstances beyond our control make the apartment unsuitable for occupation (e.g. damages to the building , water or power supply outage, fire, flood, etc).
